      First 1911....now what

      Church, what did you have them do to it? This is a "Loaded" version. I have shot one before and it was love at first shot. I don't predict doing much to do, but you never know. I have looked into the whole "idiot mark" thing, i'm fairly confident I will avoid that. Any other things to watch for...

      SERp. Thanks for the link. Exactly what I was looking for. What about guid rods? I see a lot of chatter on one piece vs single vs short... I think it comes with the 2 piece. Any thoughts for me to consider?

      I have a friend who is a Pilot. He had an interesting point. The plane went UNDER the radar for a while, to hide its location. Then it flew ABOVE the radar.       Brand New 1911 Springfield Loaded

      I just ordered the loaded Blackened Stainless. I have been reading about some issues with the two piece guide rods. Which models have the 2 piece from the factory? This all gets to be a little confusing.

      Call From what I understand, if you call Springfield. They will overnight you a new version. I think it is a single piece.

      Been shooting a standard XD for about 5 years. Its my fav and also the most accurate one I own. The only con...you'll shoot it a lot so you will need more ammo. =)

      IWB Holsters

      take a look at Alien Gear. They offer lifetime warranty, and will replace the kydex part if you get a different gun. WAY cheaper than other brands but reviews are comparable to the top brands. I ordered one, let me know if you have any questions.

      .380?

      If you want a deep conceal I suggest looking at the LCP380. I ride motorcycles and its one of the few guns that you can not see when i'm hunched over. Worth a look at least. Good luck.
