Ruger LCP - DON'T PAY RETAIL

UPDATE: Received a call on Monday from KY Gun Co. that my Ruger was in and ready for pickup. Was able to get it today, so from the time I ordered it until it was ready for pickup was about 2 weeks, which I didn't think was bad for a product on backorder. -jb

      NTS m&p shield first impressions

I picked up a Shield 9mm last week also, but haven't put any rounds through it yet, can't wait to get to the range. Also, for what it's worth, KY Gun Co. (I have no affiliation) has the SW M&P 40 No Thumb Safety for $319.99...

Stevens Model 887 Rifle - Firing Issues

I've got some PB Blaster, will take the gun apart and do as you suggest to see if that resolves the issue. Thanks, -jb

Ruger LCP - DON'T PAY RETAIL

I just ordered the LCP Custom from KY Gun Co. It was on their website as "available for backorder" for $219.99. My order status shows it's ready to ship. Will hopefully have it before too long. -jb

Stevens Model 887 Rifle - Firing Issues

Here is a schematic I found online for the 187 which is equivalent to the 887, I don't see anything listed specifically as a "firing pin return spring". Are you referring to part #3 (hammer spring) or #6 (breech bolt spring)? Thanks, -jason

Stevens Model 887 Rifle - Firing Issues

I was given a Steven Model 887 22 rifle a while back by a friend of mine because he said it wasn't firing, so he bought a new rifle instead of working on this one. Turns out the firing pin was broke (the little "T" at the end was broke off), so I found the correct part and reinstalled the new...

Ruger LCP - DON'T PAY RETAIL

Is that for the LCP or the LCP custom? Our local Rural King ad has the LCP for $209, but I've not checked to see of they have any in stock. -jb

      Remington Rifle's, How it's made...

Thanks for posting, that was a good video to watch. Very informative and, being a woodworker, especially liked the shaping of the stock, inletting, etc, but it was all very cool. I also like how it seemed every station had a use for a hammer! -jb

      Taurus 380 Sights

I am not exactly sure what the issue is, he just said he was having a hard time seeing/using the sights. Not sure if it's due to his eyesight/glasses or the dark sights. I originally recommended he put some hi-vis paint dots to see if that helps. Will let him know about the bifocal safety...

Price and time frame for your grips sounds reasonable, what kind of wood did you get? -jb
