Dixie gun works muzzle loader. Need info.

It looks very similar to the traditions Kentucky long rifle Dixie gun works has on the website however this one says it's made in Italy on the left side of the barrel and the new Kentucky rifles are imported from Spain. I was hoping there would be a serial number lookup

New rifle! Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine!

(misconfig.) I have completely disassembled the bolt and cleaned all of the cosmoline off of the rifle. One source has told me to try new ammunition that some brands will swell in the chamber. other than that its a great shooting rifle.

New rifle! Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine!

You have to love a thunderstick like the M38. I have one that i outfitted with a synthetic stock. it seems to help buffer the recoil some. It seems like the bolt on mine is really stiff and often very hard to eject after its fired. Has anyone else had problems like this? any suggestions?

      Firearm Depreciation

You can also think of buying guns as not just being a monetary investment. but an investment in your security. If you bought any gun and it saved your life just once i would say that is a sound investment. not to mention the peace of mind it brings.
