The 40 mag and 9 mag are the same dimensions. The only slight difference is opening for the bullet is a tad wider. Doesn’t seem to bother the function. Shot another 100 rounds of different defense ammo today without a hiccup.
Okay I know there will be a lot of naysayers.
My 21 year old HK 40 P2000sk now has new life. I bought a new 9mm barrel from HK for my P2000sk. Asked about changing the springs but was told no need to do that.
Installed the barrel and loaded up my .40 cal mags with 9mm. Off to the range. 107...
This was taken in 2020 with a Glock 40. 180gr hollowpoint(required in Indiana), Holosun red dot at 65 yards. He jumped, ran 20 yards and dropped. First year using it. Used a Dan Wesson 44mag for 50 years. BTW minimum barrel is 4”. Been that way since I’ve been hunting.
I have used Dan Wesson 44mag to hunt deer and bear for 50 years. It has a 6” barrel and has a 1x3 scope mounted. Will only shoot to around 100 yards using 240gr JHP. Have never had a problem.
That said, 3 years ago, I switched to a Glock mod 40 10mm with 6” barrel and Holosun red dot. 180gr...
I carry only the digital copy of my form 1 and trust. I scanned them and saved them to Goodreader. Not sure how a picture would work but it is a digital copy.
Just checked that last month. My understanding the suppressor does not require ATF notification. You do need your Tax Stamp (copy or digital copy will do.) and if it is set up in a trust, a copy of the trust (digital will also do)
Bought mine in 2018 through the LE program. I love it. I carry it in a CompTec Infidel IWB holster. Have never had a problem with it. By far the best 9mm I own.
That said I have drifted to the Ruger LCP Max the last few months. Not a 9 but small and accurate.
I have switched from the P365 to the LCP MAX. 10 + 1. With the technology advancement in ammo I am not concerned at all with the.380.(Yes I know it's not a 9mm) IWB, pocket or on the belt carry is no problem. Always carry a 12 round spare mag.
I went from the P938 to the P365 for more rounds...

They are great. You can fill the form on their site and they will email the completed form to you. For a fee they will go over the form for you. Take a look.
It appears that SC has started carrying other brands of suppressors besides the ones they manufacture.
Regardless its a great service that helps ease the burden of the NFA paperwork.
Another bonus, you can make payments while waiting for your paperwork approval.
Glad Capitol Armory has picked...
Received my Banish 45 from Silencer Central. It was delivered via USPS. Took about a year to get it in my grubby hands. Impressed with SC. One of their services is setting up a trust (cost included) if you would like one. Everything they did was seamless and professional.
Shot the suppressor...
Frank, that is interesting. I spoke with the NFA about my efile disapproval. I asked why they couldn’t send the fingerprint cards back. Was told that only happens with paper. I don’t understand why the difference.
The only positive was my $200 was immediately refunded.
Paper filed this time...
