      Which make of 1911?

I've owned the Colts, Springfield and one of the Taurus 1911. I currently own 2 Kimber CDP's that are excellent pistols. All have been good. My fav is the 5" Kimber CDP.

      Favorite ankle carry?

I own two ankle rigs now. Alessi that I carried my G27 for five years on MCSD. It also carried my G36. The Renegade was the most comfortable. (was talked out of) I have the Galco Ankle Glove for my Kimber Ultra that works great.

I have found the Glock for me...

G36 is a very nice piece. I had one that I had Cory Nash stiple the grip for me. It shot great. I traded it for a like new Kimber CDP Ultra even. One note that you need to check out and maybe Shooter521 will chime in. At our shop (Bradis) we have a sign up to not put front night sights on the...

CCW same size as Kahr PM9

I too prefer the PM9. I've owned the Kel-Tec PF9 and will sing it's praises, but I'm glad I now have the PM9. I've owned the MK9 and it was a bit heavy in comparison. The Taurus 709 seems to be one to look at.

How often should I practice with a 1911

I'm new to the list but not to shooting. I have two Kimber's and both are extremely easy to shoot accurately. Saying that, it took practice, practice, practice. I had annual membership with Pop's for 4 years and shot once a week for 3 of those years. Kimber's were not the only guns I shot but I...

LCP 1st time at the range report

I have two of the LCP Rugers. I took my first LCP out for a rugged test. I wanted first to make sure it would be reliable. I tried everything I could to make it jam, misfire etc. Even tried to limp wrist it to see if that would cause a problem. I fired as rapid as I could pull the trigger...

What pistol do you regret selling the most?

I sold to a friend a Colt Mark IV Commander that was customized a little at a time. It had an Ed Brown Bob, Night Sights, Jeweling to hammer and barrel. Custom grips. etc. He lusted, I caved. :o(

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY I LOVE MY 1911 SO MUCH

I have 2 Kimber CDP's. One in the 5" (tack driver) and the CDP Ultra 3". Both are excellent 1911's. I shamefully sold to a friend a Colt Commander Mark IV that I had an ED Brown Bob, Night sights, internal sweets done to it. Shot like a dream. Still like my Glock 30 that has went over 9500...

Took my new Kel Tec P3AT to the range today for the first time.

I've owned three of the P3AT Kel Tec's and only one was ammo particular. When I test them on breakin I intentionally try to limp wrist until it gives me problems. It's just one of the things I do. Good guns. My wife carries the P32 daily and out of 150 rnds. no problems using 3 different mags...

      Kahr P380 review

Hello, I am the friend of Shooter521 that loaned to Mark the P380 to test. I've first met Mark in 2000 and have taken shooting classes with him on three occasions. He writes his range reports on the Glocklist and is always thorough with his reports. I knew if I let him squeeze on the P380 a...

      Kahr P380 review

Mark, I knew you would be accurate with your test. I was concerned about lockback after last round fired which Ruger LCP/Kel Tec P3AT does not. Once the night sights are available I will purchase them and have Russ install. BTW, my P45 should be in tomorrow and I will pick up Saturday. See you...
