      Glad to see some BSU connections on here, as I am a student there. I know there is a concealed carry organization on campus, but I have yet to look into it. I did a pro-gun speech for my last project in my COMM 210 class. The Chinese student who presented an anti-gun speech was hilarious :D

      Picked up my first Mosin Nagant today!

      My Mosin started to wear on me after about 40 rounds one day (well I'd also been shooting clays with a 12 gauge)... just hang on tight and your shoulder will be fine. Gotta love a lot of firepower for a small amount of money.

      Mosin Nagant

      A Mosin's recoil really isn't bad, the weight of the gun absorbs quite a bit. The only thing that bothers me is that the butt of the stock is so small. You have to be a little careful about how you place it on your shoulder. And I second that about single shot shotguns, they're brutal.
