That's a new Waffle House... those things are small.

Right next to a Red Roof Inn and a Speedway gas station. Very modest income older neighborhood "just behind it" to the north and east, plus what looks to be an apartment complex as well, all connected by paved roadway. Two other hotels in the immediate triangle of major roadways around it.

I’ve been there a couple of times, not recently. And always after way too many drinks. To get older is to get wiser. If you want to stack the odds in your favor, don’t go to places like that at times like that and always carry. ALWAYS!

This just solidifies my phobia of waffle houses. Bad experience with a very weird chick I picked up in a bar, and a couple of miles of running/fast walking home in the middle of the night, in the snow, pretty much ruined waffle houses for me.

I hear you there. Not a whole lot of freedom in this though.

I would actually disagree. I think there is more freedom in growing your own everything and partnering with the local farmers market and trading for what you want than there is in the "choice" you get from a grocery store. Most things today are a simple choice of what poisons you feel are acceptable to eat for the time being. There is very little food at a grocery store.

Freedom is hard work etc etc.
