Nice shooting, Looks like this years pups are almost full grown. I've never had that kind of luck, shooting and seeing a coyote walk through

i was on the range shooting at 500 or 550 and he came out between me and the targets so i just spin the turret shifted and shot

i wish i could call coyotes (and get them to come in) i heard 6 diffrent packs a few days ago while hunting. all within a few hundred yards of my stand. ive seen 6 or 7 from that stand so far this year

yea i would have to think a little luck was involved, but great shot at 300+ yards, not always easy. What is the rig?

Shot one tonight. My first night kill. Stupid thing was yelping all over, covered 100 acres and circled back to a rabbit call.

    Pics in the AM

We got eyes on him at over 300 and he kept coming.
165 yards, ran a couple and expired.

My first coyote. Was just talking earlier this year about wanting to start hunting them with my .243...I was deer hunting Sunday on the ground when he headed straight to me.At 10 yards I had had enough of him and put him down with my Remington 1100

That has a very large body on him, I wonder if that is a mix? Usually coydogs don't make it through the winters because there coat doesn't get thick enough.

took another coyote today. i killed a doe a couple days ago. took the hide and bones about 250yds from my parents front door like i do every year. i looked out today at about 1100 and the coyotes had drug everything out to about 300yds and one was standing there eating. i snuck around the corner or the garage and nailed her @300. now there is a deer and dead coyote on my bait pile. it works every year.

i know this post is worthless without pics

Thought I had to work this last weekend. But, wound up getting it off. So I went out a couple of times. Had one come within 50 ft of me. The second one would not cross the territory boundary. So he was a 305 yards by the rangefinder when I dropped him. one was shot in Indiana, the other in Kentucky. Oh, how I love to squeeze the trigger!

This was last weekend. Pulled into a field on Monday around 1 to hunt the woods on the back side. We pulled in the access road and saw this guy standing in the field. Got out of the truck, walked around the back, opened the back up, got the muzzleloader out, loaded it, used a hasty sling leaned up against the truck and took up at 150 yards.
