50 shades of grey, thoughts?

Living through the times when the rating system was put into place there was so much Gratuitous nudity and piles of naked body's this stuff is really kind of lame by comparison.
Full frontal nudity and the like.

Never understood how pain and pleasure can be connected so the whole premise of the story would be lost on me. Being restrained would seem to take away from the experience.

Agreed. The actual sex was fairly tame and written like a bad romance novel. Not very creative, and many of the same words/phrases were overused.

My girlfriend liked the books. Went to see movie with her as a late valentines present.

This is absolutely the worse movie I have ever seen in a theater, possibly the worse I have ever seen period. The GF said it was horrible also.

i watched about five minutes of the beginning and fell asleep. Wife missed the very end. From what I saw it was meh, but it was only five minutes. I meant to tell my wife she had permission to wake me up at any time, but forgot

Saw the Russian version with subtitles a few weeks ago. Wasn't too horrible. Pretty sure the wife wouldn't care for it. Thought Secretary was better though. I still snicker when I see a red sharpie.
