Are you saying that bad shooting is in his DNA? That seems harsh.
The phone got me again. Lol

Try relaxing your fingers and being smooth on the trigger. Tense fingers will push the gun low and left.

I have an updated version of that chart. Replace all text with "you moved the sights when pressing the trigger".

I shot this five shot group today, standing, two-handed and unsupported. It measures a shade over 2 1/2". I was using my reloads with 115 gr. fmj factory second bullets from RMR. Shot from my new Sig M-17. Plenty good from a "combat" type handgun at 25 yards.
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure that the shot in the 9 ring was because of my poor trigger control and not because of the weight of the bullet. At 50 yards, who knows, a heavier bullet might produce better groups than this 115 grain FMJ does.Dang. 25 yards? Nice shooting. Very nice shooting.
I shoot a lot of Blazer brass in 115 and 124 mainly for price.
I would think either one would be fine.
It's not the size of the ammo but how you use it.
Quick question for the experienced.
When I went to TargetSportsUSA to order some 147 grain there were 2 choices at my price point:
CCI Blazer Brass 9mm Luger 147 Grain Full Metal Jacket
1000 rounds
Special $179.80
$.18/round
or
Federal American Eagle 9mm Luger Ammo 147 Grain Full Metal Jacket
1000 rounds
Special $189.80
$.19/round
Any input on whether I should get the Federal American Eagle instead of the Blazer Brass like I usually do (usually, as in the 115 Blazer Brass)?
