Welcome virtual NFA Day participant! For a myriad of reasons, you were not selected to actually participate in this year's NFA Day. No problem! This tour will provide you with a virtual look at the goings-on of that historic day-- Saturday, September 18th, 2010.
Good morning! It's 10:30am and you're driving down through the beautiful rolling hills of Brown County. The sun is shining, and the weatherman says that you can expect a high of 83 degrees, with no chance of rain in sight.
As you turn up the driveway and begin to wind around, snaking your way back to lovemywoods' property, you start to get a tightening feeling in your stomach. Who are these people? Are they nice? Will you look like a complete n00b? You hope the food is good.
Up ahead you see a clearing as you enter through the gates of the lovemywoods homestead.
Oh good! A sign! You must be at the right place!
You find yourself a place to park. Some guys are already loading their gear in the ATV cart, so you do the same.
And you say Good Morning to bigcraig!
Ah! More signs! Time to get your nametag and free door prize-- samples of Slip2000 cleaner and lube, provided by Michigan Defensive Firearms Institute.
You notice a "baconing of INGOers" beginning to gather, so you go over to join in.
Looks like lovemywoods is giving his welcome speech, followed by VUPDblue's safety lecture.
When the lecture is over, you head down the BIG hill to the range, where a heavenly buffet of NFA goodness awaits! You take note of the "reactive" targets for later in the day.
You look around nervously at the other participants. Who is going to be brave enough to kick this event off?

How about ol' GhostofWinter? Yeah he'll start you out with a BANG!
Folks suddenly seem like they're off to the races! Machineguns, suppressed pistols, suppressed rifles, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns
, belt-fed bliss!
During a break in the action, VUPDblue gives a quick run-down of the legal side of NFA ownership, including what forms must be filled out and submitted to the ATF. You are very excited that he even provided packets with the forms to each participant!
And then its back to converting money into noise. . . .
Sitting back, you look around at all of your new friends. What a great community INGO is!
Wait. . . . did you hear that? Sounds like machinegun-fire has been replaced by the distant ringing of the dinner bell! Time for grub!
You walk through the front door of the lovemywoods cabin and find yourself greeted by mounds of pulled pork, with several different BBQ sauces to sample. Next to the pork on your plate you try a little homemade salsa, some baked beans, and watermelon. Time to sit back and chat about the awesome day with your fellow INGOers.
As you bid everyone adieu, you reflect back on what has been one of the most awesome days of your life.
And, in true INGOer style, you immediately head home to post all about it on the interwebz.
