One of the reasons I come is because I know darn good and well that I can't afford most of the toys that will be there. I intend for that to change eventually though. This way I can get still some exposure to different products and schools of thought. By the time I'm ready to grow my collection I should have plenty of great experience and info to base my decisions on. :yesway:

BTW, it was great to meet you! :ingo:

Thank you Sir. It was a pleasure meeting you.

As everyone else has said, thanks DaKruiser and HotPocket! Yesterday was a blast, and while the competition was the most fun I've had in a while, the highlight for me was handling all of those amazing knives without salespeople swarming me.

Also, thanks Grunt and Dtrap for letting me fondle your big... knives.

It was great meeting everyone. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by everyone involved makes me eager for the next one!

Hopefully I'll have a rifle case to bring next year.

Thanks to you all, it's the people of INGO that make this kind of event worth doing.

I owe a few special thanks to those that helped me get this all together, Shadow for being my emergency driver and bringing the throwing target. Glock for being my first responder. M67 for the lumber to make the table better and helping cut wood and move the table. OneBadV8 and JD4320t for helping move the table and cutting wood for the fire! drbarnes and Grunt Soldier for the help planning and ideas to make the chopping contest better and safer, thank you my friends! And of course my awesome wife HotPocket for cooking and taking care of us all like you do.:wwub:

I have learned so much from you all here in the cutting edge, it's awesome to see others getting into knives and steel, and yes there's lots of koolaid! :koolaid: and it's good!!

Thank you all again for making this such a great event that's a joy to host! :ingo:

It doesn't look like we have many action shots. I saw a lot of cameras going during my run and many of the others, but no pics? If anybody took a pic of my son's run, please post it. I was so worried about making sure he didn't cut himself that I didn't even think about getting a pic or video.

I'd like to see that again myself! That little man of yours gave one heck of a performance! Not an ounce of quit in him. I must also add that he is one of the most respectful young men I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I would second this if it wasn't for the Turkey Bacon comment. :D

But seriously he was a great kid and an awesome photographer.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I try to tell him that certain information stays in the house, but he doesn't listen. I considered therapy, but I'm not sure it would do any good.
