*EDIT* Apparently not. More tradition than anything. Cannot read Arabic but cannot find anything prohibiting red brick as building materials.

I don't think there is any prohibition on building material, just recreating natural forms.

Ok, thanks, got it now. Was not up on my halal building code. Everything I see (in English and Russian, have no Arabic) is mubah on what to use for a mosque.

Not me. I interact with the Ingo member in the real and the others I know were Neighbors that I am friends with the entire family and some of their friends. I fixed lawnmowers for them. Furnaces. Had serious discussions the evening of 9/11 when they were scared to death. I promised them no harm was coming their way.
They have since moved into the family compound of several homes in a group not far from us. I still see them just not as often.

I'm thinking it's pretty much on par to insinuate something by accusing folks on INGO not knowing a single muslim as it is to say you're a bigot if you "can count" how many X's you know.
