    Today is the first recurrence that I'm awRe of.

    it used to be "lone afib". Now it's "paroxysmal afib". Back on meds :xmad:

    Going to get shocked? Since you know when it started (at least it sounds like you do) as you know, you can probably avoid anti-coagulants long term if you get cardioverted soon, but if they have to cardiovert you, you will probably still be given them short term.

    Last time I converted on my own literally 30s before they were to push the sedative. I'd rather not be shocked. As you said it's six weeks of anticoagulation if shocked. I'm a CHADS2-VASC 0 and proud of it :)

    i'm at home, my dad picked a script for me. I'm 100mg of metoprolol in now, hoping next 30 mins helps

    I think it's caused by the concussion of gunfire. Kind of like bad cpr. You just attended the carbine class ya know. We should probably remove all your Firearms. I have room in my safe. You will feel better in no time. I know I will. :ingo:
