it used to be "lone afib". Now it's "paroxysmal afib". Back on meds

Going to get shocked? Since you know when it started (at least it sounds like you do) as you know, you can probably avoid anti-coagulants long term if you get cardioverted soon, but if they have to cardiovert you, you will probably still be given them short term.

Last time I converted on my own literally 30s before they were to push the sedative. I'd rather not be shocked. As you said it's six weeks of anticoagulation if shocked. I'm a CHADS2-VASC 0 and proud of it

i'm at home, my dad picked a script for me. I'm 100mg of metoprolol in now, hoping next 30 mins helps
