Jeremy I wish you were around to teach me. I've shot myself 4 times in the past 6 months clearing malfunctions. I'm just smart enough to never tell anyone...don't want to give more ammo to the anti-gunners. Probably at least 65 or 70 times over the past decade. I think I'm doing something wrong but I can't quite figure it out. Oh well, never been more than a lacerated liver.
If I'm shooting with people I don't know, I'm really cautious and have even walked a guy that was in the Army through handling of some of my firearms because even though he'd seen them and handled a few, it had been years. Much better taking a little time and being safe than needing to plug a wound and make the headlines.
