I like it. I drink the Light version, have for a few years now. I still have a couple cases that were purchased in Ohio and bootlegged back here before it was available.

I thought I'd go ahead and try one just to be fair since it has been a long time since I was in college. Back then we drank it cuz it was cheap. At this point in my life, it just doesn't taste good to me. And I can afford to buy something else that I like even if it costs a little more.

    I hope they do well.

We used to get it pretty regularly after it first showed up in Florida. It was a bit better than than the average and dirt cheap at the time. i don't know whether my tastes have simply changed or if shipment is affecting it, but what I've had up here hasn't been particularly good. Not bad, per se, but nothing to go out of my way to get.

It's not very good for making beer bread, either, imo. The cheap, cheap stuff seems to work better for that.

I've had their Black and Tan, as well as their Lager.
It's OK for a low cost drinkable beer that agrees with me.
But it's in no way my favorite beer.
I prefer stuff along the lines of Spaten Optimator if cost is no object.

I think, more than any other beer, Yuengling is very different between bottles and cans. My wife won't drink it out of can, bottles she loves it. I personally prefer the cans.

I hope we can get down to Ohio prices once the newness wears off.
I agree with your wife,I will not drink it out of the can.I had a couple years back, and left the case with a relative. The lager is ok,the Premium, and B&T are better.Kinda the old days Coors hype imho.

I'm from Eastern PA.... We called it Pottsville **** water hahahahaha... It's ok... I prefer upland brewing CO's selection to yeunling.... You order a "lager" pretty much anywhere in PA and you get yeunling
