I just saw the article on TV.

I have said this before, with how bad all our foods are, why are we on average living longer???

If foods are so bad for us, why don't they just ban food?!?!?! If food causes cancer, then if we stop eating, we should never get cancer... and guaranteed we won't.  :laugh:

You gotta die of something so Bring on the Bacon! Had a Bacon Deluxe at Wendy's today. Maybe I'll have a Baconator tomorrow. Besides everything will kill you these days. I even heard a rumor that Guns will Kill you...still trying to figure that one out. :ar15:

Who cares? Go outside, cancer. Eat 100% clean and healthy, cancer. Exercise, cancer. Smoke/drink/eat like pig, cancer. Might as well do the things you enjoy if we're all gonna get cancer anyway.

I read in "Cook This, Not That" that moderate alcohol consumption three times a week will make you five times less likely to have colo-rectal cancer. Just make sure that your bacon comes with a few serves of cold ones and you'll be fine.

    Well.........
I quit drinking. It was bad for me.
I quit smoking. It was bad for me.
I'll be damned if I'm gonna give up bacon!!!!

(Unless it hits $4.00 a pound. Then the Farmers can eat it themselves. :n00b:)

Hey MY grandma fixed me some "Fresh Side", which she said was uncured bacon. Can't remember exactly how she fixed it (she passed away in 1974) but it was gooooood!

Nope, different stuff. Can't tell the difference uncured bacon and the chemical filled bacon.
Bet you hated going to grandma's for breakfast!
I spent every Summer at Grandma's farm while I was growing up.
That "stuff" was almost an everyday thing. :(
Of course when the smell of it cooking mingled with the normal barnyard, chicken coop, smells of daily life on a farm you hardly noticed it. :):

The only vices I have left are food, drink and guns I'm not about to give any of those up over a newspaper article or "scientific study" that says what I eat may cause cancer. Besides my liver will give up before the cancer get's me.
