Bald Eagle Sightings

I've had a few sightings of an eagle near the white lick creek/sand quarry area at 267 and County Line Rd area at the Morgan/Hendricks county line.

My little cousin (She's now 30 so I guess I will eventually stop calling her "my little cousin) and I were coming back from the property and we were about 10 miles west of Corydon heading back home on I64 when we had a beautiful Bald Eagle fly right above the truck....

This morning on SR 104 between Walkerton and Salem Heights. Thought it was a vulture because of the wing span until I saw it closer. Always a treat to see one!

Yeah, there is a big nest over on old 267 by the Islamic Center and 70. I have an Eagle I have seen over here on Cartersburg Road by the landfill. Awesome creatures!

Caught glimpse of one this morning with a chipmunk in its claws at the end of the driveway. It flew away when I drove down toward the road.

Last Tuesday evening, a pair flew over CR350N and SR267 just south of Brownsburg. I wasn't quick enough with my phone/camera. They eventually headed farther west.

I saw one on 40 between Columbus and Nashville over the winter. First one I've seen in Indiana.
Truly beautiful.

Saw one sitting in a field on SR 13, between Fortville and I69 about a week and a half ago.

Saw an immature one flying over US 41 near LaSalle FWA. Head was getting light, but body was still pretty mottled.
