Barefoot???

Not to mention that my tighty-whities don't have belt loops for my gun belt. Now that I think about it though, I guess I could get by with a cowboy rig... How's that for a mental image?

This reminds me of a few episodes of Dual Survival where Cody Lundin, who goes barefoot virtually all the time, was significantly hampered, and as a result sat around camp whining about his feet (and doing what he could around camp) while Dave Canterbury was out and about doing significant work to promote their survival - which he could because he was actually wearing appropriate footwear.

Around the house - no shoes.

Outside, I prefer the force multiplier and tactical advantage of appropriate footwear.

I can't do barefoot, not even at home. I'm always in shoes unless I'm in bed.

I rarely wear shoes while at home, inside, out in the yard, in the driveway hot or cold weather.
