If Bass Pro has a policy of no loaded guns in the store, their policy led to this....but it would appear to be mainly the shooter/shootee's fault.

    Anyhoo, enjoy this classic

The idiots who keep shooting themselves are obviously ignorant and stupid. I'm tired of hearing about idiots who shoot themselves because "I thought the weapon was not loaded" when they simply do not follow the four rules of weapons safety to begin with. You cannot cure stupid!

And some think rule 1 is pointless... This is precisely why rule 1 exists and does not have exceptions.

It makes me wonder how these people can hold down a job if they can't even follow a single firearms safety rule...

I always love how these people are so stupid as to think people would believe that they "just sat the gun down and it went off."
Yeah, many decades now worth of firing pin blocks that require actuating the trigger to discharge a firearm. Guns don't just "go off when you sat them down" they go off because you were coon fingering it like a toy.

I am still trying to figure out why the hell the greeter was bringing him a trigger lock so he could unload his gun. Leave the gun in the holster where it belongs and this crap won't happen. I open carry in there regularly and have never been confronted by an employee.
