It is becoming more and more clear that suicide by cop is a viable way to generate income for families, because it seems that the families almost ALWAYS RECEIVE A PAYOUT regardless of innocence or guilt

I'm not so sure that was suicide by cop. Kinda just looked like the dude was crazy.

Lancaster protesters bail set at $1M each by judge. That might wake a few up!

Unfortunately, setting such a high bail has enraged the busybody crowd, including the lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania. Although it may be satisfying to see these "individuals" incarcerated on such a high bail, it lends credence to the mob arguing the system is fixed against them.

Bail is traditionally meant to ensure the defendant returns for trial; recent amendments to Indiana law permit the court to consider danger to the public when setting bail. I do not know if Pennsylvania law is similar.

Perhaps the judge is aware of the various groups raising funds to bail out protesters, and wanted to prevent that from happening? Again, just speculation.

Maybe it is exasperation with the cancer presented by these "93% peaceful" "protesters" that seems to be increasing. As with any child, if unwanted behavior is not addressed, firmly, fairly, and consistently, you will get more of it.
