    a couple companies but neither have to do with knives. from what I've seen from the company and jerry and the hogs nothing but a stand up crowd for sure. oh and I'm already looking for just the right hell razor, I just love the looks(I know the performance is there) any info on them would be awesome.

    A handful of ways to buy 'em.

    From a show at a Busse Combat booth.
    * Blade Show in Atlanta annually
    * Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot every Fall and Spring
    * Most 1500s Mike gets a case or two from the Shop and sells along with Bob helping.
    * A couple of gun shows around Columbus - Mike again.

    Directly from the shop.
    * A single model at a time. Orders are taken for volume, ordering is closed and the model finishes out. A new model appears.
    * From the shop during a Ganza. (Check the Busse forum on Bladeforums.com)

    From the Company Store.
    * Skunk (Scott) gets several models / types at a time. Check there.

    Secondary Market
    * Bladeforums.com Busse Exchange.
    * Wherever.

    Busse Combat Knife Company
    Busse Company Store
    BladeForums.com

    Also Scrap Yard Knives, Swamp Rat and the Swamp Rat store.

    :D:D

    So, didja sell the knife??

    I think this original ad was the wood/mosaic. No, no yet. I didn't really expect to sell many here but just dropped them up here at the same time as Bladeforums for the heck of it. I know there were a few folks with INFI here.

    Still, if you're just starting out with a Busse I would NOT recommend dropping right into a Custom Shop. Sort of like your first handgun being a $3000 Nighthawk Custom 1911. Get something you'll have no hesitation in being the crap out of to really test the performance! For that a Combat Grade Black/black Busse is great. Even a gateway-drug blade from Scrap Yard or Swamp Rat. Swamp Rat got me there first six years ago.

    That reminds me... I did sell a couple more on Bladeforums that I need to remove from the exchange here. :)

    paddling_man, don't take this personally. . . . but stay the hell away from me! ;):D

    You know, esrice? You are a good, honorable man. I would be more than happy to let you test run one of my users for a couple of weeks. Yanno, just to see the real performance. Free, of course. (The first one always is...) ;)

    That orange/black handled one is AWESOME! I remember seeing it before.

    Just out of curiousity, where/how do you store these at home?

    Gun room. Some in the safe in scope cases. Some in cases on the wall. Some users in sheaths. Folders in rollpacks. Some small fixed in the old wood/velvet silverware cases. (I found a couple at goodwill.)

    (Edit- Jerry will occasionally make some 1911 grips for us. Not the most dazzling of colors but one I'm partial to for sentimental reasons. This is "tigerhide" canvas micarta on my Springfield.)

    FYI - I edited the title to better reflect the original question posed.

    PM - is this a full-time gig for you? Or do you moonlight here in the real world? :D

    LOL :) Purely a labor of love. Er... addiction. Very good friends who are employee/owners of Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrap Yard. I'm just a satisfied customer/friend/occasional volunteer for free exhibitor pass to Blade. :)

    Real world I'm a non-choochoo engineer. Crap, I should be asleep, too.

    Yeah, didn't realize it was a custom you were talking about. Did see a couple Scrapyard blades that looked interesting though. Dammit...
