Gentlemen, as one professional to another, I strongly urge you to arrange phone calls or in person meetings to discuss the specifics of this.

"Officer, how did you happen to be at that location, at that time, when my client was present?"

Is that any different than a member of the public calling the Tip Line and reporting a wanted suspect at the house across the street from them?
The question would be the same, but the answers would be clearly different.

Look, I get what BBI is getting at. Most defense attorneys probably wouldn't dig any deeper than that. But I know a few who would not stop with the superficial answer.

As an attorney, I'm just trying to help. :)

    OP said "likely be".
It's the same as the cops asking a neighbor of a wanted person... "
Hey, you know Jim? When is Jim going to be home?"
"Yes ostifer, Jim is usually home around 3."

Or are you saying that those defense lawyers would use the "snitches get stitches" defense?

Anyway, it's not like they are going to go on INGO and get info to use in court or anything.

In retrospect, yeah... offering unsolicited advice meant to help people I like on INGO was probably a bad idea.
