Still haven't heard back from. I emailed them again and linked to this thread and my KahrTalk thread so that they can see the opinions of others, as well as gave the serial so they can check to see if others have reported the same thing from the same batch. I do appreciate everyone taking the time to comment and share your opinions.
I hope this can be resolved soon. I don't expect a weekend response so will call them Monday. I chose the Kahr because of it's size and previous reputation, ideally I'd like to stick with them but depending on how this is handled I may seek other options too. I really liked the Shield, already have a S&W that I LOVE (as well as S&W vintage signs hanging in my house...)... so, I may seek a Shield later. I don't know.
Anyhow, hoping to be able to put some rounds through it this weekend anyway. I love the feel and function of it. Just not overly convinced it won't look worse after 500+ rounds. Curious to see what another 100+ will do first.
