I normally clear the chamber in the parking lot, and then drop the mag as I walk in. Not ideal, but .

Yeah, yeah.... Drop mag, clear chamber (pocketing the +1), check and verify, reinsert mag.

I carry a 1911 mag on my leg pocket.. here are 1911's everywhere... Just a thought

I went to a gunshow not long ago and open carried a 6" S&W 686 in hip holster. And had a G19 IWB the ones at the door said I needed to unload the 686 and that was it. I kept my G19 right where it needed to be...in the holster the whole show. Why can't idiots just keep their booger hooks off the loaded guns in their holsters???
