If you have an analog watch (pocket or wrist) you can point the hour hand at the sun and the 12 points north giving you a point of reference inorder to properly orient your sundial watch.

I thought the intro threads got closed to keep them from popping up in my control panel, driving me crazy after I welcome someone. That gets me subscribed to the thread and I get notified every time someone else welcomes them. I know, I know, I can always unsubscribe to the thread.

I used to teach that to the Scouts.
But no one ever had an analog.
Now, no one has a watch.
