I bought one, with my Cabela's points I paid $232 with tax. It's a long wait time. I ordered on July 30 and still waiting. But should be here soon.

The "regular" LED automatically adjusts to lighting conditions, and is always on.

The adjustable LED will also automatically adjust to lighting conditions, but can also be manually adjusted, and it has an off/on switch.

I've really really been trying to get myself not to buy one of these over the last couple of sales! It's a great deal for sure, the problem is once I start down this path I'll end up buying two pistols and two RMRs I already know! My saving grace has been that the 3.25 adjustable models have been out of stock (the 06 I think).

    Thank you.

The regular one comes with a UTG mount, the adjustable one does not.

Is it worth the extra $ for the adjustable?

I think I'm going with a Deltapoint Pro instead.....

    - Can change the battery without removing the optic
    - Glass seems better with no tint
    - Seems just as durable
    - No cat ears and I seem to pick up the dot quicker

Only downside is it's a bit larger and the base is thicker/taller.

I like the DPP a lot. My carry optics Glock wears one. I do not trust it yet for an EDC though. Not happy with the battery life and it is not as rugged.

So.....not as rugged as a RMR? I had seen a lot of positive on durability with the steel hood.

I feel like my DPP are just as or even more rugged than my rmr. On a side note I like the DPP better than the rmr. For the same reasons seedubs stated! However I could see the battery being am issue with EDC

For me I guess it remains to be seen. My EDC RMR is about 7 years old and has around 70,000 rounds through it without a problem. A lot of that is rough use in classes with racking the slide with the optic and what not. I realize not everyone has been this fortunate. I got my DPP in Feb(?) 2017 and have shot about 10,000 rounds with it. On my third battery so far. It has held up very well to this point with my only gripe in that area being the rust on the hood.
