    Not that this isn't egregious... but it likely wasn't fat. It was probably water and a gallon of gatorade would have gotten him back to normal weight.

    (not that it makes it ok... just sayin)

    I actually think it is worse if the weight loss was all water.

    15 pounds of water is 1.8 GALLONS.

    His organs were shutting down and he was near death from dehydration. Not a pretty way to go.

    I just saw this on Inside Edition of all places. My mouth actually hung open for a minute. All the DEA agents involved should have been immediately terminated. He should have gotten more than $4 million and it should come out of the DEA's budget, not the governments general fund.

    The moral of the story is to make sure you are well hydrated at all times...
    Never know when the DEA is going to throw you in a box and forget about you for 5 days.
