What has always made me wonder "WTF?" is a TV show or movie where the cop or agent gets home or back to the office, and the first thing they do is put their sidearm in a lockbox, or in their desk.

I would guess it's because the liberals who write and produce those TV shows believe that the only possible place for them to keep a firearm is in a locked safe when they aren't actively being a policeman.
