Gonna buy at least one soon. But none of the public ranges will let you shoot anythng but paper. Just gotta join a local club that allows steel. And BTW the most fun is that little bitty square target that you can flip over the 2x4 if you hit it just right! Can't wait to put a few 8mm Mausers down range at all of them!

I have seen people shooting their own steel at ECPR. Not sure what the rules are, but you might send them an email...

I would like to attend, will bring a 03A3, M-1 Garand, and ONLY IF OKed,
I will bring the M82. plus extra ammo.
Ball ammo only, tracer if OKed ahead of time.

    Is it rain or shine?

    I believe it will be!

I would love to see the m82 myself...clear it with pierce195 as it is his location. Not sure we will shoot any steel with it as I already have some samples of that, but I might be talked into sacrificing one for video:dunno:

I was very intereseted but have to see it take 223 and 308 first.:dunno:

Come on out! If all you are worried about is those calibers, I promise you you will leave with some plates. I had a couple plates with .223 hits at the show.

Let me know if you have any questions as I am sure others have the same!

He will probably bring the plate that took 6 50BMG without spalling. This stuff easily handles .22 and .308. I am sure if you use a lot of penetrators it will show faster but we shot it at our range and other than lead and copper smears it looked like new.
