I am descended from William Bradford who came over on the mayflower. His descendant (my ancestor) General Andrew Lewis fought in the revolution to establish this nation. I have several other documented patriots in my family ancestry but the most well known is General George Washington who also helped establish this nation.
Later on down the road i have many others who served in and were wounded in every war in this nations history all the way up to myself in the war on terror. I think we earned our place in this country and assimilated.
These people (many of them) are not interested in that. They take take take take and are not interested in learning english or how to be part of the diverse culture here. Our government PAYS these people money. They give them thousands of dollars to start businesses and buy houses and buy food and medical expenses and reproduce.
It is a damn shame. It is NOTHING comparable to my ancestors who came here and helped to found and build America into the country of greatness, and now moochers.

Exactly ! ..... there is NO comparison. What's happening today has no correlation to the mass immigration of Europeans in days of yore.
And although they smile and wave at me, based on attempting to communicate with them, I doubt if my new Burmese neighbors have enough command of the English language to effectively call 911 should my house catch on fire while I slept.
