Watching Longest Day right now. It's a good one.

I always enjoy a flick with Hans Christian Blech, some other good ones, Bridge at Remagen and The Battle of the Bulge.

We were soldiers, since I had a brother that service in Vietnam, Black Hawn Down, since that was from my era as a soldier, and Saving Private Ryan, for the realism of D Day.

I don't think I saw 'Act of Valor' listed.

Kelly's Heroes is definitely on my list too.

Different type of war movies, but I'll also add 'Gettysburg' & 'Dances With Wolves'.

I think I may have messed up my post movie reference when I listed "Uncommon Valor". I meant the movie that came out awhile back that had actual SEALS and other military acting instead of Hollywood actors. That was Act of Valor, correct?

I have the quote used in the movie that Tecumseh uttered hanging in my office.

Most of the ones I love are already listed, but I didn't see The Hurt Locker. Also another recommendation for The Pacific, it's hard to beat Band of Brothers, but I also feel The Pacific is overlooked.

Tora Tora Tora is a sentimental favorite because it was the only movie I remember my Dad ever going to with us.
