Nothing to see here. Just an isolated incident. Right?

    This made me LOL.
They are hoping that the family will not only receive financial reward from this lawsuit, but the FBI will admit its error and create a policy change.

Never gonna happen if history is anything to go by.

Crazy that their own records show he wasn't living there anymore and they broke in anyways. Maybe I should install man cages at all my windows and doors.

FBI swat? Geez, they are about as high speed as they come. That would be scary to undergo.

I'm not saying that SWAT teams don't have a purpose, but it would be harder to justify their budgets if they weren't kicking doors in left and right, when there are sometimes better options to execute a warrant.

This. But if you do that, they will probably just be encouraged in their thinking that a criminal is in there. They will probably bust in, and then claim that you "barricaded yourself in and refused them entry."

EDIT: I mean no disrespect to LEO's, I just am getting fed up with this no knock, shock and awe crap. The kinda stuff that killed that Marine in Arizona. Policy change is needed NOW.

    you got a metal porch?

I'd like to rig a Jacobs ladder with a motion sensor on the outside of mine. If I could figure out a way to do it w/o frying the dog and running up a huge electric bill, I would.:rockwoot::D

lol. 'Course not. but it sure did sound good.
