Nice walleye. I love fishing Sullivan lake. Are you still finding some of the crappie on the spawn. I was there a week ago with my brother and we limited out on crappie and then switched to bluegill.

The crappie still appear to be on the spawn. I caught 4 total but one was so small I tossed it back. I also caught 4 LM bass but none had any size to them; biggest was 12-13 inches.

got out for an hour this evening. Three bass on t-rigged white senkos. JM was determined to catch some bluegill and got one with a cricket. Was crazy windy where we were, so we packed it in early.

Did spend a few minutes trying to sight fish a bass, but he didn't want anything to do with my jig.

Caught this bass tonight along with five others just a bit smaller. Caught him on a split rapala floating. Minnow color. Neighborhood pond.

Hitting the strip pits at dugger this friday. Last time we caught lots of 2-3 pound bass. I caught a 4lb rainbow trout that took a solid 10 minutes to land. Did not see a soul out there and it was a Saturday. One of the few placed in Indiana with nice rainbow trout.

Be prepared for the gnats and ticks. I was out there yesterday evening and took every precaution to keep the gnats away but forgot about the ticks.:noway: I was mainly fishing West Lake by the boat ramp and then moved over to the west side along the road. Had a few bites but didn't hook anything. As far as the trout goes the last time I went out to Island Lake there were 2 guys in a boat trolling and catching them about 20-25 feet down. This was probably 2 weeks ago.

Minnows. I started out using a bobber, but didn't get any bites, so I just started casting out the minnow and they pounded them.

I didn't get any pictures, but I did have a witness.

I was in a small aluminum boat with my aunt, so I didn't take my phone for fear of dropping it in the water. I wanted to keep them, but we didn't have a stringer either.
