We don't trust our teachers with guns.

Funny that they'd arm them with a class of weapons that kills more people every year than rifles. Funny that they'd give them a weapon that would require them to be within arm's reach of a bad guy but not one that could equalize the threat from more of a distance. Funny that they provided them a weapon but with no training on how to use it.

Well...not funny -- ha-ha, but funny -- weird.
