    It's interesting how people cite the Ft. Hood shooting as an example of how effective the 5.7 round is.

    43 people were shot, 13 died. Thank God he didn't have a 9mm, .40 S&W or a .45 ACP as the fatalities would likely have been higher.

    Pretty late to this latest battle going on since I was traveling. With respect to your post, please explain how the 9mm, .40S&W, or .45ACP would likely have performed much better than the 5.7 given data in the following link;

    The 5.7 is not listed there but it would seem from the info that you posted, it isn't any better or worse than any other round.

    1. You are kinda late to the party.

    2. The other guy kinda ruined it, and nobody wants to talk about it anymore.

    3. its fine ok, its fine. Its all fine. Everyone is happy, all handgun rounds are the same, use the one that you got reloading dies for.

    Sad truth is, we dont get a whole lot of opportunity to try them out.
