Vehicle Defense & Team Tactics
This class will focus on gunfighting in and around vehicles with both pistol and rifle.
Topics will include:
- Entering and exiting vehicles as individuals and teams.
- Defense against car jacking
- Shooting from vehicles, stationary and moving.
- Team tactics for approach and retreat.
- Effects of bullets on all areas of vehicles.
- Shooting through laminated window glass from inside and outside the vehicle.
- Team communication.

Course Instructor: Henk Iverson
Bio:
Henk Iverson served in the South African Military in a unique unit specializing in tracking terrorists on foot with dogs or visual trackers, on horseback and with off-road motorcycles. This unit was called the South West African Specialist Unit or SWASPES.
After his military service, Henk joined the South African Police Service and was selected onto a Reaction Unit - a high risk SWAT type unit. The Reaction Unit's main function was counter terrorism.
After 15 years police service, Henk started his own training company, specializing in CQB. Henk has worked all over the world and has protected the President of a country, trained special forces of several countries and now resides in the USA where he serves as the training director for STRIKE
Tactical Solutions LLC. STRIKE Tactical provides Law Enforcement and the Military with the most modern fighting training available.
No prior experience or training is required for the Level I Pistol, but please note that these courses are somewhat physically demanding and will require real work on the students part.
Level I Rifle requires attendance of any Fortress Handgun Course, or those of DTI, Awerbuck, Strike Tactical, ACT DP101 or equivalent to attend. Contact us if you have questions.
