That’s turning out really nice. I’ve been following the thread in the GS area too. Hope to hear a range report on the finished product soon.

That'll be the real test of all my work... I've been fitting parts as I go, everything appears in order. We'll see when I go to shoot it lololol

Brand tax. People are apparently willing to pay $500+ for tupperware that clearly costs $50 to make.

Helps that they do, generally, work.

A little conservative on the cost there - I think at least twice that to make! For many years never had the least desire to own a Glock and never thought I would ever buy one.

The intro of the single stack G42, G43 and G48 changed all that. I ended up buying a used G42 off the classifieds here and it would be a great gun if it were reliable with all factory FMJ ammo. Have not even tried factory hollow points yet. And then earlier this year my first new Glock - a G48 with the intentions of shooting at Camp Perry in the Glock match last summer. Really nice but I finally decided I wanted a Glock with an accessory rail and an optics ready slide.

So finally last week my 3rd Glock - a G34 MOS bought with the veteran's Blue Label program. The grip is large for me but I think I will be able to manage it. I really appreciate the MOS feature as Glock supplies 4 bases which allows a many of the popular reflex sights to be utilized. I have a Vortex Venom on mine and will be shooting it today for the first time.
