    I hate Glocks!
The angle of the grip sucks.
They are top heavy the more you shoot them.
Where's the safety? Oh that's right, it's in the trigger. So even a small stick can fire it. How is that safe?
They are the ugliest guns out there. Tied with the Hi-Points.

There are more ergonomic guns, and there are prettier guns, but the beauty of the Glock is simplicity and that it just runs.

And the safety as many are fond of saying here, is between one's ears. If you are depending on a mechanical safety to be "safe" you are doing it wrong. I'm not one that goes so far to say that manual safeties will get you killed, etc, but train with what you carry, and don't depend on a safety to save you from unsafe practices.

Yeah I feel ya on this one but I refrain due to the Decorum I need to maintain.
Glocks hate me. They really do. I have witnesses. There are pics.

My opinion really means nothing because We ALL LIKE WHAT WE LIKE. It is really that simple.
If you like HiPoints then run-em. Enjoy them. Same with any other Marque. Glocks have a Niche. It is a solid contender. Ugly as a shoe box but a solid contender.

Now "TT" has went to the next level with his and many others have as well.

I find it humorous that so many Glock Fanboys have owned from dozens to truckloads of them.. One would think that after one or three of them they would be kept because they supposedly are such great handguns.

I see the point you are trying to make, but for me, Glocks are "commodity" handgun. I know that my Glock 19's are as good as cash if and when I need to liquidate them. The Glock 19 is my personal favorite sidearm, but I've sold many in the past to fund other things. They are also consistent enough that I know when I go to buy another one, the new one should be every bit as good as the previous one I owned.

The only guns I won't readily sell are the ones I've inherited. But my Glocks have come and gone, and that wasn't because of a lack of quality or reliability. The fact that I can always find a buyer at a known market price is actually a proof of the opposite.

The new generation of Glocks are pretty solid. I was never a fan of Glock, just didn’t dig the way they felt. The 19x caught my eye and felt better in the hand than the past generations. Turns out I shoot that dang 19x better than just about any other handgun. So I ended up buying a 43x for carry, and shoot that almost as well as the 19x. The 19x is now my go to pistol for the range. That being said...I did just buy a Wilson Combat Centurion Beretta. I haven’t shot it yet, but damn does it feel good!

I've got a G20sf and the reliability is there. I've shot just about everything in it. I did replace the spring with a 22lb from Glock store. I use full power 10mm so it works out fine. Ergonomics compared to others isn't that great but the reliability, and accuracy is good. Off a rest at 50 yards I was able to get a few 2" 5 shot groups using optics. I can't really complain.

The newer generation of Glocks have really stepped things up. Even previous generations with some customization were some of my favorites. Wilson Combat does fantastic Glock customization for previous generations that improved the overall shooting experience.
