I was busy...the Courier Journal called the shop and interviewed me. I spoke to them quite a bit...I had a couple of customers in the shop..One a former LMPD and he told me he knows from past experience that they won't use my quotes in the article..He said I made too much sense and that the CJ will keep calling gun shops until they find someone that they can misquote or use one comment that can be taken out of context. I refuse to buy the CJ so I have no idea whether they quoted me or not. It looks like they were trying to find out if I was "busy" or not..

One thing I did tell them was "You can't legislate sanity..."

I have not even posted for days..I have just been sick to my stomach over this...What sucks is trying to wrap your head around the act and deal with the senselessness of it all. And before you can even deal with the emotion of the event you are already on the defense about defending your second amendment rights...

It's going to get vicious. Obama is in and this was just the "crisis" they were waiting for lest they "waste it" as Rahm Emanual might say.

    Let's pray cooler heads prevail.

So I'm fortunate enough that a pre-last-friday order just arrived to my house yesterday, and even though I'm TEMPTED to make another/additional order(s), BUT... I'm inclined to think that even if we do get hit with another ban, it's going to be at least a LITTLE while, such that prices/availability will fall back to something in between those of December 13th (which already wasn't "good") and "OMG the world's ending!!!"

Well, it IS, you know. :D

    CRAP!!! Where's my credit-card???

Wait. If I buy stuff with a credit-card and the world DOESN'T end... then I'm gonna have to pay for all this stuff. If the world DOES actually "end", then having all this stuff probably isn't going to help me.

If I bought candy with my credit card, then I'd at least have a chance to try'n eat it all BEFORE the world ended... :-)

That's the way all of the news is going. You won't get quoted unless you sound like a gun wielding maniac on this issue. I saw some news footage this morning, and couldn't help but think they should have found someone a bit more educated.

Things in the Seymour area are not going too well. Bite the Bullet is out of ARs and AKs. Acme still has ARs, but they only had one Saiga left which I bought, they don't have any other AK variants. Mags are also running out at both stores very quickly too.

At the present time I would think a porn shop owner is more popular than a gun shop owner. Makes one wonder if gun shop owners need to be more vigilant of their business properties and well being right now. There are crazies on both sides of the isle you know.

Yep, kind of crazy. Like we are gearing up for civil war but for what? So we can defend ourselves from pending legislation in January?
