What is better than one gun, two guns!!!!

I think it's common knowledge that some gun owners, have large numbers of gun.
Now some of these are collector grade firearms, and some are fighter grade guns.

How much these big caches of firearms are skewing the American gun ownership numbers, is debatable, but I am betting it does quite a bit.

Yeah there may be some that don't tell, but yes, there are DAMN SURE Burt Gummer's out there with a veritable arsenal ready for the next Zombie Horde, Terrorist Death Squad, whatever to come... right next to the gun collector with an equal size horde.

Me? I subscribe to the working collection model. Yeah a ton of my stuff is old collector grade, but it all is lubed up with ammo ready to go for it.

A dead Terrorist is still a dead terrorist.. doesn't matter if was shot with an IHC M1 Garand, a Palmeto State Armory AR, or grandpa's shotgun.

At some point over the last 10 years our kid’s pediatrician started asking if we own guns. This is during their annual check ups. She would tell us she doesn’t care either way but is required by law to ask. It’s none of their business and I would respond appropriately but respectfully. I have no idea what is done with that information, but I don’t trust the government.
The next time they ask, just respond "I have no guns". If you have none on your person at that time, that reply is a true statement.
You have to think like a Democrat politician, dont answer the question directly, give an answer to a question not asked.

Yep, that is basically the “appropriate” answer I referred to. Or simply “no” as in “no, I refuse to participate in your question”. They can interpret that as they wish. I probably should have made that more clear in my original post.

Or tell them if they're going to ask irrelevant questions, then you can start asking questions about if there's inappropriate relations with the staff, and what does it involve.

Ask them what law and ask for a print out of said law. You might get a different response.
Maybe a law for the local hospital the Dr works for.

I get asked if I feel threatened at home or abused. I'm 6'2" 230lb. I smile and say do you think I am they say no and we go on to the next questions they already know from the last visit.

Yup, lived here all my life, no plans on leaving anytime soon. "Napganistan" does have a nice ring to it though.
    same here.

i was in a discussion with someone in another thread a while back. they basically said we deserve this for living in the inner city, we should just move.

i would rather run the thugs out since we can't get help from the prosecutor, judges, and mayor.

i do not fault the police, they can only do so much.

I like this site's position regarding that question.

"Remember when writing your complaint to be polite. Explain why you find the doctor’s or health plan’s behavior unacceptable. Include the powerful points we’ve discussed:

    • Your doctor is professionally unqualified to give expert advice on firearms

    • Your right to own firearms is a civil right that is none of your doctor’s business

    • A doctor misusing his or her authority and trust to push a political agenda of gun control is an ethical boundary violation. Such unprofessional conduct is not acceptable."

Other than on-line checklists I have never been asked the question. If in person my immediate response is going to be, "why do you believe that is an appropriate question under the limits of medical ethics standards?"
Never had a problem and I've recently visited my Doc as well as a Dermatologist. If I have my pants on I have a gun, simple as that. I set the holstered gun aside for my examination and reinstall it when the Doc is finished. I'm a paying customer there and If they want to have me trespassed I'll find another Doc. I'm not depending on some ill trained security guard (if they even have one) to assure my safety. I train regularly and when I was RSO at Range USA I witnessed three different "security" agencies training. Not an inspiring site is the best way to describe it.
Covid reinforced a very important lesson for me. The Government isn't presently, and has never been on my team where my health, welfare or security is concerned.

unfortunately our politicians know that disarming us will set us up for the same thing that is happening not just in Israel, but around the world.

history itself gives us the lessons. the socialists (even the ones who don't identify as such) want to repeat it.

there have been a few that identify as socialists who by action (totally different from there stated doctrine) have proven that the only ones who benefit from disarming the populace are the ruling class.

we as citizens of the usa need to make sure the officials we elect are for the uplifting of our country and we do not fall for the guys who will "stand behind you".

we have a president who has openly threatened the populace.

the usa officially started on the path to economic socialism when nafta was pushed on us.

we are on the road to the same as the middle east.
