It was pretty good if I recall correctly but that was a long time ago, we would go there sometimes when mom had lunch with dad up at the shop.
I remember the ice cream machine. Didn't they have a serve yourself coke tap too, like 2 or 3 choices?
It was challenging though, if you remember the buffet was a big revolving thing, you had to be on your toes to get something when it went past you.

Cucaroaches are Tasty, Toast them FIRST, Add a little Garlic, TASTES like CHICKEN. IF NO ROACHES, Pesticides used Extensively. ALL Restaurants have Mice, Bugs, etc. You might NOT see them BUT they've been there or on their way ;)

oh i know have worked in food service for over 35 years......they can be and are controlled....

I did some side work for Orkin back in the 80`s .............White Castle`s were by far the cleanest and pest free vs other restaurants they treated .
Not sure if that still holds true today ........but their construction materials made areas easier to keep clean , using Porcelain Board and stainless steel panels .

Bud's best gal worked for health dept.
Got the list of good places local.
Thankfully, the best one, is close to me and the little woman likes to go there.

Grand Park............lemon rice soup. Will have to go.
Aunt used to make it (and other old country stuff).
    Miss it.
