Thanks for that. Got a good laugh. Definitely agree with Jason and Bob. Also whoever said they would hate to have to shoot a child. Seems to go along with an article I read by Ayoub that said even when you win you still lose. I am sure the man didn't ask for ID (exchange of words) before firing and now only after the fact will have to deal with them being young.

Hope the victim has a Back Up Gun. The Police will sieze the rifle used for evidence, lock it up for years during trial. Possibly may not get it returned. Also, slain members family may not have remorse for the victim, therefore a BUG may be a comfort to them, and protection.

Shoot them int he legs!! LOL. Like anyone would be considering anything but 100% self preservation when faced with 3 intruders inside their house.... These bleeding hearts make me want to puke.

Not being Jesus, the amount of sympathy and compassion I can muster is finite. I choose to reserve that limited supply for people and situations who do not clearly disqualify themselves from deserving it. I can make an AR with a nice trigger in it sound like it's "full auto". I do have a very quick trigger finger, and if it is in front of a nice trigger, you will think that the rifle I am shooting sounds like it is select fire.

I'm no expert, but it seems logical that it's tough to get shot while breaking into someone's house where you're not there breaking into someone's house.
