I also have a .223, but its an issued rifle and not really mine. I'll probably be adding .308 and .30-30 soon.

adding .243 soon but only temporarily (even though I like the cartridge) and will eventually end up with .308 instead
will add .300 BLK and .45 acp, 12 gauge eventually.

    Mine are:

    .22 LR
    .380
    .45 ACP
    .45 (Black Powder)
    12 ga.
    20 ga.
    30.06
    8 mm Mauser
    7.62X54r

I just noticed that I have only one gun for each caliber besides .22.. Oh well, I guess I like variety!

I hope to add 7.65X39 to the mix in the near future if I can convince my wife that it will be an "investment", and depending on how the election goes, (heaven forbid) they might not be around in another 4 years.. :dunno:

I went back to look at this and wondered how peoples caliber choice have changed since the ammo and gun panics of the last few years? I have gone up a few caliber/guages withe the thinking that if one caliber gets hard to find maybe I can find shells for this other caliber

Between recreational shooting and hunting, not enough, but more than I care to admit. even though it is costly, id like to think I am diversified enough to find ammo anywhere, anytime.
