Me??? A select fire SBR (10"-12") M4 with a can. Inexpensive ammo, can take anything up to deer sized critters, good for self defence. Adjustable stock and removal of the can leaves you a fairly light weight, small, compact weapon. Can reach out to 400-500 yards to reach out and touch someone.

Have to go with this also

Something I can change uppers for different calibers like an AR-15 for versatility. If that isn't part of the rules a Savage 16 FCSS in 7mm-08.

People who are choosing non-NFA guns are missing the point of the exercise here.

    For me:
SCAR 17, select fire, SBR, with a can on the end.

What will become of ammo availability if the political climate has gotten so bad that we have allowed ourselves to be limited to one gun? Seems as if that would make the select fire option problematic? :dunno:

One thing about these types of hypothetical threads is that they are best not taken too seriously, but rather give people an opportunity to mention preferences (which will vary), along with the option for a bit of humor.

A10 warthog. I just like the way they sound.
    :):
    On that note ...

While attending a shotgun course many years ago that happened to be not far from an Air Force base, an A10 appeared and made several low passes. We all stopped and waved. After he flew off there was a moment of silence, then the instructor said, "I think I need a cigarette." (and he didn't even smoke) :joke:

I am not savvy enough to quote 2 people, but since you have said this, if money was NOT an object,

then since Thor said Ma deuce, I would have to opt for the M-60, as I can carry it if I HAD to.....

And it can be fired, single shot, and can be very accurate .....

with every penny, on ammo, and expendable parts ..... and cleaning stuff .....

and a can, if available .....

Well if the availability of ammo isn't a factor then a suppressed MP5 in 10mm. If ammo is a factor then the same in 9mm.

If everybody is only allowed to own one gun, I'll just move more people into the pit under the house. Problem solved. Think outside the box people.

Ok... then a 686 ...with a can? Don't think that would even work.

Guess if you want an alternate, I'll take a GP100.

I suppose I could vote for an MP5 if I need an NFA item.

I guess to me that's like saying that you can have any car in the world and price isn't a factor and then you still choose a Ford Pinto.

For self defense I would still have my 1911 45 converted to select fire and have an attachable stock.

For hunting I will use my air rifles for small game and my bows for larger game. Simple.
