    well its got a cmp case, cert, dvd, and reading of 2 muzzle, and 2+ throat, but I got this from a vet Marine from ft wayne for 850 and Ill ty to get some solid pictures uploaded soon. I havent researched the sight. it elevates fine, windage is fine its just a little play on the sight, may be normal may be something else. I only shot it once since it came in to function test. I reloaded over 200 rounds of 46.5 imr 4895 with 168 bthps so Im ready.

    Play is normal in the rear sight. In service rifles. NM rear sights are custom fitted with no play. It takes some work to do it right.

    If you really feel the need to eliminate the play, use a rubber band from the sight aperature to the elevation knob to keep pressure on the aperature. It is a old Garand trick been used for over 50 years.
