Nice looking rifle. Shoots as nice as it looks
I couldn't disagree with this more. I camped out on the prairie for a week, shot 1000 rounds with minimal cleaning and my savage was still hitting dogs out 500-600 yrds. I didn't bed my rifle until I got back, Hell when I bought it I had less than a month to get a load developed and sighted in before I headed to South Dakota. My barrel break in was during load development.
I'm not saying Remington's are junk I've shot some nice ones but I know Savages are not junk also
If you shoot off a bench in fair weather you may never be disappointed by a Savage. Use one hard and the differences will make themselves known.
