Kitchen floor has been shored up. Had a couple of floor joists that had issues.
Sistered along side the existing joists to bring the floor back to level, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.
Ran gas line for the range and screwed the subfloor down.
It will need to be moved to install the floor covering, but we have a working range. 20240222_151311.jpg

For me there has always been something about a driveway making the place a home instead of a jobsite.

All looks good. Congrats! I went thru something similar when I rebuilt my place. Not as much trash but I removed every single wall inside, including the basement.

Hey, as soon as you get done with this place, how about a property search in Osceola? Many more just like this one up here. Lots of nearby folks refer to us as Grossceola. Fitting, if you look around. Elkhart is much the same.

This is the last corner in the chicken coop thar still needs cleaned out.
Note the 55 gallon plastic drum full of aluminum cat food cans.
This is the 3rd 55 gallon drum filled with aluminum cat food cans that came out of the chicken coop alone!
This also does not include the 2-55 gallon drums fiĺled with steel cat food cans.
This lady shod have bought stock in Little Friskies.

    Then I also found this.
    Another gun!
A plastic something or other with a working trigger, but no way to load anything.
I think the trigger used to make a noise when pulled.
Looks like it's modeled after the Marlin camp rifle.
