Ohhh, great topic. So many to choose from.

    1. 1970 Superbird, Alpine White, Hemi, 4spd.

    2. 1969 Charger, General Lee. Actually have had many Chargers, but only have had one General, and it wasnt in the best of shape. Maybe a Hellcat General.

    3. 1965 Aston Martin DB5, Silver.

    4. 1970 Challenger T/A, B-5 blue, 340 6-Pack, 4spd.

    5. 1978 Trans Am, T-tops, Black or Martinique Blue.

Early '70s Triumph TR-6, British Racing Green color, union jack decal on the rear quarter panel, wire wheels. From what I understand it was a rattle trap and leaked copious amounts of oil, but I was in high school and the hottie next door (who was at least 10 years my senior) had a boyfriend that drove one. The hottie is probably in a retirement community, but that TR-6 still looks cool.

So many grail cars. So many.

Same here. I wouldn't know what to choose. I have had a poster of a 1967 AC Cobra 427 hanging in my garage for 30 years or so. That one might make the list though sitting in one, they don't feel as good as I always imagined.

It is not a big car.:)

I really can't pick that ONE car.

I'll take one of these. Series 60 Detroit, double overdrive 10 speed and 2:40(ish) gears w/ a locking diff. Trailer brake changed to work on the steer axle (Line Lock!!).

1971 Datsun 510, Yellow, 4 cylinder, 5-speed manual, no power steering, no AC, no radio (not even a place for a radio).

I'd love to drive that car again and see how many memories of 1978 would come flooding back into my mind.

1976 Datsun 710 wagon and 1983 memories. Mine had a radio but I somehow jury rigged / wired a tape deck in. It sat on the hump in front of the gear shift and it was the passenger's job to grab it when the driver yelled "radio!" in tight turns.

I love the lines on the 67. In a coupe the experience is different. When you put the little peddle into "Full" the experience you have is like the engine is sitting next to you. The cabin holds the mechanical song that is belted out by the brute big block chevy. You feel/hear everything. I love it.
Not the same in a convertible. Not a thing wrong with the open air experience either just no where near as brutal.

Friends dad I motocrossed with on the weekends had a blue '67, crossfire ignition. Hood said 390 or something. Soft top and hard top. Side pipes. We put a lot of miles on it in his dad's basement garage.
