    It looks as though there were no charges against the self defender. My point is this was Illinois and the defender was obviously carrying outside his auto.

    But, don't assume you will be treated the same.

    Great news, there's justice to be had even in chicago!
    But I'm betting the DA decided the case might be a hard sell to a jury rather than being embarrassed about bring charges against someone for self defense. Bernie Goetz wasn't this lucky though
